About Conference
Scope
The 5th International Conference on Applied Sciences and Engineering (ICASE 2027) will be held on June 10–11, 2027, in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia.
ICASE 2027 aims to bring together academics, researchers, scientists, engineers, and graduate students from around the world to present and discuss recent scientific advances, innovative research findings, and practical applications in applied sciences and engineering.
The conference serves as an international platform for promoting interdisciplinary research and fostering collaboration across various scientific and engineering disciplines. Particular emphasis is placed on the integration of mathematics, physics, chemistry, and computational methods to address complex scientific and technological challenges and develop innovative solutions to real-world problems.
The conference welcomes original research contributions in a broad range of fields, including Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Computational Science, Materials Science, Environmental Science, Engineering, and related interdisciplinary areas.
All submitted papers will undergo a rigorous peer-review process and will be evaluated based on their originality, scientific quality, relevance, and clarity of presentation. Selected high-quality papers will be published in a book series by Springer Nature.
ICASE 2027 provides valuable opportunities for participants to exchange knowledge and research experiences, share innovative ideas, establish international research collaborations, and strengthen professional networks, contributing to future advances in applied sciences and engineering.
Peer review
ICASE 2027 follows a double-blind peer-review process, in which the identities of both authors and reviewers remain confidential. All submitted manuscripts will be evaluated by two to three independent reviewers based on originality, scientific quality, relevance, and clarity of presentation.
All papers must be written in English, present original research, and must not have been previously published or submitted elsewhere for publication. Authors are responsible for ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and proper formatting of their manuscripts to avoid delays in the review and publication process.
Final acceptance decisions will be made by the Conference Scientific Committee based on the reviewers' recommendations and the scientific quality of the submissions.
Responsibilities of Peer Reviewers
Peer reviewers are responsible for critically evaluating manuscripts within their areas of expertise and providing objective, constructive, and respectful feedback to authors. Reviewers should assess the originality, relevance, scientific quality, strengths, and weaknesses of the research and offer recommendations for improving the manuscript.
Confidentiality
The Conference Scientific Committee, reviewers, and editorial staff must maintain the confidentiality of all submitted manuscripts. Information about submissions must not be disclosed to unauthorized individuals.
Unpublished materials or information contained in submitted manuscripts must not be used for personal research or other purposes without the author's explicit written consent.

All submitted manuscripts should be previously reviewed by the editorial board members. The submitting author must ensure that all eligible co-authors have been included in the author list and that they have all read and approved the submitted version of the manuscript. The manuscript may not be published in English or any other language, including electronically, in the same form without the written consent of the copyright holder.
Permissions
Authors who wish to use figures, tables, or text passages that have been published elsewhere must obtain permission from the copyright holder(s) for both print and online formats and provide proof that such permission has been granted when submitting their articles. Material submitted without such proof will be assumed to originate with the authors.
Source Files
Please ensure that you provide all relevant editable source files with each submission and revision. Failing to submit a complete set of editable source files will result in your article not being considered for review.
Accepted File Formats
Using the following template file will substantially shorten the time to complete copy-editing and publication of accepted manuscripts. If this is a problem, please contact the editorial secretary@icase.mn. Accepted file formats are:
- Microsoft Word: Manuscripts prepared in Microsoft Word must be converted into a single file before submission. When preparing manuscripts in Microsoft Word, the Microsoft Word template file must be used.

Ethical Responsibilities of Authors
This proceedings is committed to upholding the integrity of the scientific record. As a member of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) the proceedings will follow the COPE guidelines on how to deal with potential acts of misconduct.
Authors should refrain from misrepresenting research results which could damage confidence in the proceedings, the professionalism of scientific authorship, and ultimately the entire scientific endeavor. Maintaining the integrity of the research and its presentation is supported by following the rules of good scientific practice, which include*:
The manuscript should not be submitted to more than one proceedings for simultaneous consideration. The submitted work should be original and should not have been published in any other form or language (partially or in full), unless the new work concerns an expansion of previous work. (Please provide transparency on the re-use of material to avoid the concerns about text-recycling (‘self-plagiarism’).
A single study should not be split into multiple parts to increase the number of submissions, and submitted to various proceedings or to one proceedings over time (i.e. ‘salami-slicing/publishing’).
Concurrent or secondary publication is sometimes justifiable, provided certain conditions are met. Examples include: translations or a manuscript that is intended for a different group of readers.
Results should be presented clearly, honestly, and without fabrication, falsification or inappropriate data manipulation (including image based manipulation). Authors should adhere to discipline-specific rules for acquiring, selecting and processing data.
No data, text, or theories by others are presented as if they were the author’s own (‘plagiarism’). Proper acknowledgements to other works must be given (this includes material that is closely copied (near verbatim), summarized and/or paraphrased), quotation marks (to indicate words taken from another source) are used for verbatim copying of material, and permissions secured for material that is copyrighted.
