About Conference

Scope

The International Conference on Applied Sciences and Engineering (ICASE) will be held in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia during June 09-10, 2025.

We kindly welcome to all academicians, researchers, scientists, engineers and graduate students in the related fields to submit their original research papers. Applications in engineering science that require expertise in mathematics, physics and chemistry. Its mission is to become a voice of the applied science community, addressing researchers and practitioners in different areas ranging from mathematics, physics, and chemistry to all related braches of the engineering, presenting verifiable computational methods, findings, and solutions.

The Conference provided a setting for discussing recent developments in various engineering and applied science topics, including Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, Computational science, Material science, Environmental Science and Engineering.

The submitted conference papers will be subjected to stringent peer review and carefully evaluated based on originality and clarity of exposition. The selected papers will be published in Atlantis Press Proceedings, now part of Springer Nature, a professional publisher of scientific, technical and medical (STM) proceedings, journals and books. The conference provides opportunities for the attendants to share new ideas, experiences in Applied Sciences and Engineering and to establish collaboration for the future.

Peer review

ICASE Proceedings uses a double-blinded review process, which means that both the identity of the reviewer and the author are hidden from the reviewers throughout the review process and vice versa. All submitted manuscripts undergo intensive peer review in consultation with members of the journal’s editorial board and independent external reviewers (usually 2-3 reviewers).

Papers must be in English and must not have been published elsewhere. Authors must agree not to submit the same material to another journal for publication. It is in the author's interest to ensure accurate and consistent presentation to avoid delays in publication.

The Responsibility of the Peer Reviewer

The peer reviewer is responsible for critically reading and evaluating a manuscript in their specialty field, and then providing respectful, constructive, and honest feedback to the authors on their submission. It is appropriate for the Peer Reviewer to discuss the strengths and weaknesses of the article, identify ways to improve the strength and quality of the work, and evaluate the relevance and originality of the manuscript.

Confidentiality

The editor and all editorial staff members must not disclose information about a submitted manuscript to anyone other than the corresponding author, other editorial advisors, and the publisher, if applicable.

Unpublished material disclosed in a submitted manuscript must not be used in an editor's own research without the express written consent of the author.

Copyright Notice

Copyright on any research publications in the ICASE proceedings is retained by the author(s). The authors grant the ICASE proceedings a license to publish the publications and identify itself as the original publisher. Publications in the ICASE proceedings are Open Access articles published under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial (CC BY-NC) 4.0.

This license permits use, distribution and reproduction in any medium, provided the original work is properly cited.

All submitted manuscripts should be previously reviewed by the editorial board members. The submitting author must ensure that all eligible co-authors have been included in the author list and that they have all read and approved the submitted version of the manuscript. The manuscript may not be published in English or any other language, including electronically, in the same form without the written consent of the copyright holder.

Permissions

Authors who wish to use figures, tables, or text passages that have been published elsewhere must obtain permission from the copyright holder(s) for both print and online formats and provide proof that such permission has been granted when submitting their articles. Material submitted without such proof will be assumed to originate with the authors.

Source Files

Please ensure that you provide all relevant editable source files with each submission and revision. Failing to submit a complete set of editable source files will result in your article not being considered for review.

Accepted File Formats

Using the following template file will substantially shorten the time to complete copy-editing and publication of accepted manuscripts.  If this is a problem, please contact the editorial secretary@icase.mn. Accepted file formats are:

  • Microsoft Word: Manuscripts prepared in Microsoft Word must be converted into a single file before submission. When preparing manuscripts in Microsoft Word, the Microsoft Word template file must be used.
  • LaTeX: Manuscripts prepared in LaTeX must be collated into one ZIP folder (include all source files and images, so that the Editorial Office can recompile the submitted PDF). When preparing manuscripts in LaTeX, please use the LaTeX template files.
  • Poster:  The poster dimensions are set to 31” high by 56”  wide (80x142cm) and the layout is for use as a Two-Fold poster. Poster template you can download and use for your presentation
  • Supplementary files: May be any format, but it is recommended that you use common, non-proprietary formats where possible.

Ethical Responsibilities of Authors

This proceedings is committed to upholding the integrity of the scientific record. As a member of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) the proceedings will follow the COPE guidelines on how to deal with potential acts of misconduct.

Authors should refrain from misrepresenting research results which could damage confidence in the proceedings, the professionalism of scientific authorship, and ultimately the entire scientific endeavor. Maintaining the integrity of the research and its presentation is supported by following the rules of good scientific practice, which include*:

The manuscript should not be submitted to more than one proceedings for simultaneous consideration. The submitted work should be original and should not have been published in any other form or language (partially or in full), unless the new work concerns an expansion of previous work. (Please provide transparency on the re-use of material to avoid the concerns about text-recycling (‘self-plagiarism’).

A single study should not be split into multiple parts to increase the number of submissions, and submitted to various proceedings or to one proceedings over time (i.e. ‘salami-slicing/publishing’).

Concurrent or secondary publication is sometimes justifiable, provided certain conditions are met. Examples include: translations or a manuscript that is intended for a different group of readers.

Results should be presented clearly, honestly, and without fabrication, falsification or inappropriate data manipulation (including image based manipulation). Authors should adhere to discipline-specific rules for acquiring, selecting and processing data.

No data, text, or theories by others are presented as if they were the author’s own (‘plagiarism’). Proper acknowledgements to other works must be given (this includes material that is closely copied (near verbatim), summarized and/or paraphrased), quotation marks (to indicate words taken from another source) are used for verbatim copying of material, and permissions secured for material that is copyrighted.
